Top ten: Opera Hottest Male Stars



Well well for all of you out there who thought opera was just some fat guys with a mustache singing with big voices... Well, your kinda wrong about it... Because opera world is just not full of great and powerful voices, is full of super duper hot men too... Believe or not, there's a lot of eye candy here, so let's begin this thing, right?


1) Vittorio Grigólo



This italian tenor was born in Arezzo and he became the youngest one to perform at Teatro Alla Scala in Milan at age 23, pretty awesome isn't it? Since then, Grigolo's career has been going up like foam, performing all over the world in the most important opera houses of all times. This 37 year old man with dark hair, brown sassy eyes, beautiful smile and well, we all know how flirty and charming Vittorio is, that bubbly personality just shine through the lens of cameras. He's quickly becoming one of the most important tenors of our era and that just the beginning of everything...


2) Erwin Schrott



This Uruguayan bass-baritone has it all to be a superstar, his powerful, dark and deep voice can bring an opera house down with just a phrase and make any girl fall down to his knees. Schrott is well known for his role of Don Giovanni, well seems like Mozart wrote this role thinking about Erwin's voice and shaped body, who doesn't like a guy with big muscles and upper torso to hold on, right? Erwin is not just a voice and a body, he's just really a sweet and charming man, a devoted father and he can sing Tango with such passion that you just fell in love in a second. His Rojotango album has bring people closer to Tango all over the world, so... Thank you Erwin!


3) Charles Castronovo


This half sicilian, half ecuadorian tenor born in the US has the best from Italy and South America to be a great star in the opera world, Castronovo has making a name on his own in numerous roles all over the world, with his black hair, almond eyes, charismatic smile and super shaped body (as you can see on his facebook page or instagram, seriously, look into it) he's turning heads around from all over, beside being such a sweet heart, he's married with one of the most beautiful russian sopranos of this times, Ekaterina Siurina, they have 2 adorable kids together, Alessandro and Valentino, which he proudly show on his social media, you can see both of them being as adorable as their father...


4) Stephen Costello


This American tenor winner of the Richard Tucker Award on 2009, since 2006 when he make his debut, Costello has been enchanting people all over the world with his brown hair and deep blue eyes, he's now well known for in 2010, originated the role of Greenhorn (Ishmael) in Jake Heggie's Moby-Dick at the Dallas Opera, having a huge break out because of this. And the down part of this, he's married with the incredibly gorgeous soprano Ailyn Pérez since 2008 (all the good ones are taken, sadly haha) they even make a duet album together ( you should go and listen, is really really great and the inside photos are just to die for, too cute...)


5) Philippe Jaroussky



The XXI century Farinelli” with his wonderful, tender, sweet and passionate voice, Jaroussky has now become one of the most big countertenor of our times, this french guy with the boy next door looks has been blessed with what people call “Angel's voice”. He doesn't only have a voice that can make anyone jealous, he's really handsome and super cute too, with black hair, green eyes and sustancious lips, he really can make a girl fall for him...


6) Luca Pisaroni



This italian bass-baritone was born in Venezuela and then moved to italy at 4 years old. Now is well known for his roles in Mozart's Operas, being acclaimed in the most prestigious opera houses for his wide volcal range, undeniable stage presence and wonderful sense of humor. This 39 years tenor has the power to transform into any character, giving to the audience his best and of course, charming all of us girls with that bright smile, dreamy eyes and black hair... ¡Our McDreamy of Opera!


7) Jonas Kaufmann



Well, what can we say about the greatest german tenor? Beside having an incredibly perfect vocal range, with a dark, sultry and sexy tone that can make any girl fall pretty hard for him, with his messy look, Jonas has conquer people an opera houses all over the planet, making big roles in operas like Werther, Parsifal and most recently Manon Lescaut (which I personally think he makes a perfect role and has a great chemistry with Kristine Opolais)


8) Piotr Beczala




This Polish tenor make his debut in 2004 and since then has been a raising star in major opera houses of the world, with his gorgeous curly hair and blue eyes, Beczala has been enchanting ladies for years (I guess that's why he's married and is Anna Netrebko's best friend, right?) He has a strong, wide and powerful voice alongside with a fun personality, we can often see him on facebook going out with friends, having dinner with Anna and his wife and playing around, which only makes him more appealing, isn' it? (I insist, all the good ones are taken! Why God?) 


9) Guido Loconsolo


This italian baritone make his debut in 2003 and since then Guido has been making a big career in opera houses all over, with major roles as Marcello in La Boheme and Leporello in Don Giovanni, as well as Enrico on Lucia di Lammermoor, this handsome baritone with dark hair and captivating eyes is married with not any girl, he is married with the one and only Nino Machaidze, they also have a baby boy named Alessandro (he's super cute, check him out on Nino's page) (again, another one taken!!!! Really? Maybe I should become a soprano to see if I get one of these boys, right?)

10) Ildebrando D'Arcangelo



This italian bass-baritone is acclaimed for his role as Don Giovanni, making a charming, handsome, funny and sexy character, D'Arcangelo has a deep, rich and insane voice and also has long dark hair and brown powerful eyes that can make any girl droll all over the keyboard or any surface to be honest, do I need to say more?
